Heal Sashiko "Nowaki" Blowing Grasses, collage, monoprints on fabric and papers, stencil, gold leaf, hand embroidery, Nan E. Genger, MA, BFA

A monoprint is a one-of-a-kind print. They stand on their own or make terrific backgrounds for collages. Simply paint a bit of cheesecloth or any object and press. Make a pan of gelatin as a printing plate (which gradually disintegrates for wonderful shapes), or purchase a resin block and press paper/fabric after inking and stamping/stenciling. "Pulling" a print is fun and exciting. Enjoy.
